Na intenção de apreender o recinto expositivo da arte como instância coextensiva entre seu interior e exterior, elaborei Da Abertura, O Espaço, diretamente relacionado a uma mostra individual de mesmo título, ocorrida em agosto de 2019 no Museu de Artes Visuais Ruth Schneider (MAVRS) de Passo-Fundo, município localizado na região noroeste do estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Trata-se de uma vídeo-intervenção apresentada simultaneamente no ambiente interno da exposição e na face externa do edifício, concebida a convite da arte-educadora, artista e curadora Luciane Campana Tomasini.

Enquanto imagem-emblema ao propósito de permeabilizar a arquitetura que distingue a sala de dentro da área de fora, a realização dessa proposta, junto da ocasião expositiva, coincidiu com a reabertura comunitária do MAVRS em seu prédio de origem, uma vez que as obras em acervo e as atividades administrativas do museu haviam sido alocadas no campus da Universidade de Passo Fundo por um período de quatro anos. Sob nova abordagem de extensão universitária, de fomento ao contato e diálogo com a produção acadêmica, a cultura local e a comunidade da região, a reinauguração do museu foi, então, marcada com sugestões de abertura intra+extra-muros, vinculadas ao repertório visual desenvolvido nesta pesquisa.

[Eng.] With the intention of apprehending the art exhibition space as a coextensive instance between its interior and exterior, I created From the Aperture, The Space, directly related to an individual exhibition of the same title, held in August 2019 at the Ruth Schneider Visual Arts Museum (MAVRS) of Passo-Fundo, a municipality located in the northwest region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It is a video intervention presented simultaneously in the internal environment of the exhibition and on the external face of the building, conceived at the invitation of the art educator, artist, and curator Luciane Campana Tomasini.

As an emblem image for the purpose of permeating the architecture that distinguishes the room from the inside of the area outside, the realization of this proposal, together with the exhibition occasion, coincided with the community reopening of MAVRS in its original building since the works in The museum's collection and administrative activities had been allocated on the campus of the Universidade de Passo Fundo for a period of four years. Under a new approach to university extension, fostering contact and dialogue with academic production, local culture, and the region's community, the reopening of the museum was then marked with suggestions for opening intra+extra-walls, linked to the visual repertoire developed in this research.

→ Esta obra compõe a pesquisa de doutorado Circuitos de Entrada e de Saída: por uma poética do atravessamento, realizada pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Artes Visuais da UFRGS, com ênfase em Poéticas Visuais, linha de pesquisa Linguagens e Contextos de Criação. O estudo consistiu no desenvolvimento de um processo criativo e reflexão teórica referentes ao atravessamento espacial e a trânsitos formadores entre o exterior e o interior tanto de recintos expositivos quanto da própria disciplina artística. Sob orientação de Maria Ivone dos Santos, a investigação compreendeu o período de 2016 a 2020, sendo financiada pela Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES/Governo Federal/Brasil).

→ This artwork composes the doctoral research called Entrance and Exit Circuits: towards a traversing poetics, carried out by the Graduate Program in Visual Arts at the Art Institute of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), emphasized on Visual Poetics, line of research Languages and Contexts of Creation. The study consisted of the development of a creative process and theoretical reflection regarding the spatial traversing and the formative transits between the exterior and the interior of both exhibition spaces and the artistic discipline itself. Under the guidance of Maria Ivone dos Santos, the investigation covered the period from 2016 to 2020, being financed by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES/Federal Government/Brazil).
